Am inceput in 1996 sa lucrez pe Tatra la vremea aceea Raba si Savienu era la putere. Tatra 815 an fabricatie 1989, dupa cum am spus avea motor V10 Un motor foarte simplu comparativ cu Raba sau alte tipuri cu care am avut eu de a face. Fiecare piston are cilindrul lui chiulasa lui, intre chiulasa si cilindru nu are garnitura etansaja perfect . Wibrochenul este format din bucati daca cumva sant probleme la un palier sau maneton se demonteaza si se schimba bucata respectiva la palier. Nu are cuzineti are rulmenti, decat la palier are cuzineti la axul cu came bucsile au un sanfren pe exterior si chiar daca fug de la gaura urca uleiul. Este singura masina pe care eu am intalnito cu racire pe aer temperatura de lucru era 12o-150 grade celsius vara cand era prea cald urcasi la 170 , ambreajul pneumohidraulic placa pe soare , disc 420 cardanul este intre motor si cutie , cutia fiind prinsa pe tubulatura si de aici pleaca un fel de planetare in fata si spate. In tubulatura este ulei, tot ce pleaca de la cutie si pana la transmisia finala lucreaza in ulei. Are 5 viteze pe mic si 5 pe mare , gol ma duceam cu ea la 110 lejer , dar intradevar avea un consum plin gol undeva la 58%. Suspensia pe fata pe bari de torsiune pe care le puteai regla si amortizoare iar pe spate are arcuri si fiecare roata e independenta. Am lucrat si eu pe un 815 vreo 8 ani si chiar sunt masini de lucrat in conditii extreme. Chestia cu"din multe noroaie m-a scos" e relativa,caci daca sta "pe burta" doar polizezi in gol. E alta treaba insa la cele cu gume 1400. Vad ca au iesit si variante moderne pentru asfalt dar nu stiu cat sunt de fiabile.
